Praise for
A Tour of the Catechism – The Creed

“Christians are recommended, as St Peter writes, to ‘always be prepared to make a defence to anyone who calls you to account for the hope that is in you’ (1 Pet 3:15). Fr John Flader’s book is a truly helpful guide through the Catechism of the Catholic Church, leading to a deeper understanding of the Apostolic Creed and our Faith.”
 - Christoph Cardinal Schönborn OP, STD, Archbishop of Vienna

“The doctrinal and spiritual riches of the Catechism of the Catholic Church always deserve to be further explored and disseminated.  This clear and practical book of Father John Flader gives us a helpful instrument to do this.  I recommend it to all who teach the faith.”
 - Francis Cardinal George, OMI, Archbishop of Chicago

“In this work Fr Flader has shone a light on the first section of the Catechism of the Catholic Church and revealed its treasures. In this treatment of the Apostles Creed the reader will find insights from science and philosophy that help the modern mind to understand the truths of the Faith in a very satisfying and clear way. I welcome this book, which brings reason and faith together so effortlessly.”
- Most Rev. B.J. Hickey DD, Archbishop of Perth

The Catechism of the Catholic Church is a great gift to the Church. Because of its rich and extensive content, it calls for a guide. There could be none better than Fr John Flader of the Catholic Adult Education Centre. I strongly recommend A Tour of the Catechism, which I am confident will support and inspire religious education teachers and catechists and all those using the Catechism.”
-Most Rev. Peter J. Elliott DD, MA, STD, Auxiliary Bishop and Episcopal Vicar for Religious Education, Archdiocese of Melbourne

“At a time when many question the importance of religion, or ask ‘What does it mean to be Catholic?’ Fr Flader’s A Tour of the Catechism is both timely and scholarly, providing great insight into what we believe and why. This is a wonderful resource for those seeking to know more about the faith, those who teach it, and those with the lingering ‘why’ questions. This book is a must for all teachers of Religious Education and catechists.”
 - Anthony Cleary, Director of Religious Education and Evangelisation, Catholic Education Office, Archdiocese of Sydney
