Vickie Janson was born in New Zealand and emigrated in her late 20s to Australia. Soon after arriving in Sydney in 1987, she underwent a life-changing conversion to Christianity. Together with Micheal, her husband, she decided to learn more about the Australian Muslim community and the life of her Muslim neighbours. Vickie has an on-going involvement in matters relating to Muslim-Christian relations and in investigating the effects of Islam in a western society. Vickie was a Victorian Senate Candidate for CDP (Christian Democratic Party) in the 2010 Australian elections.
