Wednesday Warriors is the dramatic account of six young footballers as they strive to etch their names in the tradition of the famous St. Patrick’s College Ballarat. Enriching their story are the memories of past players who made their names in the Big League.

Inspired by an idealistic and courageous coach the boys of 2009 aspire to the ultimate prize in Victorian Schoolboy Football. While some dream of the draft, others look to define their identity and friendships through Australia’s greatest code and to MAKE THEIR OWN HISTORY.

At a time when footballers are often making news for the wrong reasons Wednesday Warriors offers a reminder of the positives that can come through sacrifice, teamwork, mateship and youthful idealism. This is the football that underpins the professional ranks raw, emotional and all about the jumper.
