The story of Louis and Zélie is written in the form of letters to their daughter, S^tThérèse of Lisieux, each letter linked to the next forming a continuous narrative. Described also are the brief lives of Thérèse’s two brothers and two of her sisters. A fuller account is given of her sisters Marie, Pauline and Céline who all becme Carmelite nuns, and also of Léonie who joined the Visitation Order.
